The Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) has announced that it will start accepting applications for event wagering licenses in July of this year.
The state launched an application window around the same time last year, resulting in bet365 being granted an event wagering operator license as a representative of the Ak-Chin Indian Community.
Within the 2024 licensing window, the ADG hopes to offer at least one event wagering license each to Arizona Tribes and Arizona Sports Franchises.
The application period for these licenses opens on July 8, 2024, and closes on July 19, 2024, at 5 PM.
Interested parties must submit their completed applications within this timeframe to be considered. The ADG will evaluate all applications based on the criteria outlined in the state’s event wagering rules and statutes.
Prospective applicants are advised to review the application process and requirements provided on the ADG’s website.

Arizona has recently announced that they are now accepting applications for additional sports betting licenses in the state. This comes after the successful launch of sports betting in the state last year, which has proven to be a popular and lucrative industry.
The Arizona Department of Gaming has opened up the application process for interested parties to apply for a sports betting license. This is a great opportunity for businesses and individuals who are looking to get involved in the growing sports betting market in Arizona.
In order to apply for a sports betting license, applicants must meet certain criteria set forth by the Department of Gaming. This includes being at least 21 years old, having a clean criminal record, and demonstrating financial stability. Additionally, applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming practices.
The deadline for submitting applications is fast approaching, so interested parties are encouraged to act quickly. The Department of Gaming will review all applications and select the most qualified candidates to receive sports betting licenses.
Once approved, license holders will be able to offer sports betting services to customers in Arizona. This includes both retail and online sports betting options, giving license holders the opportunity to reach a wide audience of sports fans.
Overall, the decision to accept applications for additional sports betting licenses in Arizona is a positive development for the state. It will help to further grow the sports betting industry in Arizona and provide more opportunities for businesses and individuals to get involved in this exciting and lucrative market.
